From time to time I love to stop in a church along the path and play some music.

Music is such an important part of my life. I’ve been playing the flute since I was 22. The flute was not my first instrument. I started to play guitar when I was 15. Soon I joined a band that was playing music of the British rock band: Genesis. In this band the singer, Peter Gabriel, played the flute. So one day I decided I had to play the flute to make our music more similar to the real band. I asked my flute teacher to teach me just the basic fingerings. well, she was very good at making me interested in classical music. I adore baroque music. Listen to this short piece. It’s from Bach.

I always loved Jazz, I must admit. So I tried to play jazz with the flute. i have never found flute the best instrument for playing jazz. Too many fights on volume with the drummer. So I bought my alto saxophone: very loud! Unfortunately I had to quit with it because I could not breath properly in the horn.

So, what’s next? Pianoforte of course!! I am enjoying my piano lessons with brilliant teachers and I also play in a band.

This said, I am so happy to share some music with my guests on the trail.
